No large, up-front investment
Vivint Solar uses a power purchase agreement (PPA). This means that we design, install, and maintain your system for free and you agree to purchase the power your panels generate from us. A PPA ensures you can enjoy the benefits of clean, renewable solar energy without having to recoup your investment over 10 to 20 years. You begin enjoying the savings that solar brings immediately.
The Vivint Solar promise
To ensure that you get the most from your solar investment, Vivint Solar guarantees that your kilowatt hour price with us is lower than your current provider. So for every kilowatt hour your panels produce, we will ensure you buy the power from us at a cheaper rate than you would buy it from your utility.
Additionally, each of our systems comes with a full parts and labor promise for the life of your agreement. Should your system malfunction or break, we will send a repair crew to your home to fix it—for free.
Professionally trained installers
Each of our installers completes a rigorous training course. They are brought to our state-of-the-art training facility, which includes scale models of systems. At this facility, installers complete both hands-on and classroom training. They are then apprenticed to master installers working on customer installations. Our representatives also attend training where they become experts in what solar is, how it can benefit you, and how it works.
Innovative technology
At Vivint Solar, we use the latest technology to help ensure optimal system performance. Our systems use the first comprehensive platform; it allows your panels and the frames they sit in to be installed quickly and easily. In fact, our panels reduce the installation time from two or three days to less than a day. And they also show our dedication to the environment; our systems reduce the amount of materials and waste that goes into creating an array. In fact, your system will generate the amount of electricity used to create them in less than two years.*

Additionally, a traditional system uses one inverter to transform your solar-generated DC power into AC power. At Vivint Solar, we use microinverters. This means that a smaller, more efficient inverter is attached to the back of each panel, enabling your system to create more power, more quickly.
End-to-end service
We are dedicated to providing the best possible experience for you. That is why, unlike other solar providers, we manage the entire process in-house. Our representatives personally walk you through the process of understanding why solar is right for you, obtain the correct permits, and design a system for your home. Then, a team of professionally trained, in-house technicians complete the installation.
