At Vivint Solar, being a good community partner is a big part of who we are. One of the many ways we serve our communities is through partnering with local schools, including supporting programs and services that build students' leadership and character. We know that we need strong leadership in order to create a greener world, and believe it is never too young to learn to lead.
Vivint Solar has chosen to dedicate its funding opportunities to FranklinCovey’s The Leader in Me program. The Leader in Me is an innovative, school-wide model that enables educators to unleash each child's full potential.
We believe bright futures begin in the classroom. Based on impact studies, we know The Leader in Me has a proven track record of increasing a student's self-confidence, initiative, creativity, leadership, problem solving, communication, and self-directed learning skills. These are the types of skills necessary to make our world more environmentally sustainable.
Throughout the school year, we are excited to sponsor two family activity nights to support and encourage parent engagement.
Together, through our partnership with FranklinCovey, we hope to make a positive difference in your community.
FranklinCovey and Vivint Solar have partnered to provide TLIM schools with a funding opportunity. We’ve teamed up to bring you Bright Futures, powered by Vivint Solar.
For every family or community member that signs up for solar through your school, your school will receive up to $400 towards The Leader in Me.
Your school will also receive a curriculum enhancement titled Green Starts with Me. Green Starts with Me provides an overview of green leadership opportunities for your students. Each student will also receive an activity book with green-living strategies.
With Vivint Solar, homeowners can reduce their home's carbon footprint without the hassle of changing their lifestyle.
