Troubleshooting a Fronius System
Need help troubleshooting your Vivint Solar system with a Fronius inverter? You’ve come to the right place. Follow the below steps to assess your solar energy system to see what we can do to get it generating clean energy.
Step 1. Check your solar devices
The first thing we’re going to do is check to ensure all of your solar devices have been properly activated. To do this:
It’s usually on the outside of your home, or in your garage.

Your electrical breaker box could be inside your home, on the outside of your home, or inside your garage.

They may be labeled “solar,” “solar breaker,” “pv,” or “photovoltaic.”

(Note, the “ON” position is normally the direction facing inwards, towards the center of the breaker box.)
6. Find your Fronius inverter.It’s usually located on the outside of your home, or in your garage.

If you see that it’s lighting up and displays any text, that’s good—it means it’s getting power. If it’s not lighting up, look underneath the inverter, you’ll see a dial. Make sure it is pointing to “ON.”

Wait 30-seconds and flip it back to “ON.” If the inverter still isn’t getting power after that, Contact Us and let us know what you’re seeing. We’ll send someone out to fix it.
Step 2. Check your internet connection
Sometimes the issue is as simple as checking your internet connection to ensure it’s working properly. Has your internet been a little slow? Try resetting your router. To do this:
