Help with Vivint Solar Account Center

Having trouble accessing Account Center? We can help with that. Follow this guide to understand what you can do to access our online portal.

Step 1. Try logging in again


You may have tried to log in already, or you may not have. Either way, we ask that you try again. Why? Because it’s the quickest way to check and see if you already have an Account Center profile, and could save you a lot of time.

Think about this:

If you were to register for Account Center today, which email address would you use?

Which password would you use?

Before you do anything else, please try to log in using the email address and password that comes to mind.

If you were successful, that’s great! You’re all set! If you were unsuccessful, no problem. We’ll help you out. Just go to the next step.

Step 2. Identify the error message

When you attempted to log in to Account Center, you should have seen a red error message on your screen. If you didn’t see one or can’t remember what it said, repeat Step 1 until you see the red error message.

If the error is “Account Not Activated”

This means that you registered for Account Center at some point in the past, but never activated your account. To fix this:

1. Send email. Click the "Send Email Now" button, then follow the instructions to resend the confirmation email to your personal inbox.
  1. Register. Now log back in and click "Register One Now."
  1. Locate your account number.

Your account number (also known as your service number) is usually seven digits long. It’s listed on your agreement, or in the subject line, header, or footer of any recent email you’ve received from Vivint Solar.

  1. Add account. Enter your account number and zip code into the form, then click "Add."

  2. View account information.

That’s it! If you’re successful, you should see a screen that looks something like this:

Email Password Match


This message means that the email address and/or password was entered incorrectly. To fix this:

Go back and read through Step 1. If that doesn’t work, click the Forgot your password? link at the bottom of the login page. For help, check out Forgot Account Center password
