LEHI, Utah – July 25, 2018 – Vivint Solar, Inc. (NYSE: VSLR), a leading full-service residential solar provider, today announced it has promoted Jeremy Sabin to vice president of human capital. In this role, Sabin will serve as a member of the company’s senior management team, lead cultural strategy and oversee HR operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, training and development, benefits and equity administration.
Sabin has more than 15 years of human capital experience and brings to this role a proven track record of positively impacting organizational performance, business operations and customer relationships. Sabin will oversee Vivint Solar’s human capital team, which provides HR management and support to the company’s nearly 4,000 employees.
“We’re delighted to welcome Jeremy to our management team,” said Vivint Solar CEO David Bywater. “At Vivint Solar, human capital is a true business partner, and Jeremy’s leadership has played a pivotal role in cultivating this relationship. We look forward to working together to continue aligning human capital to our strategic business initiatives.”
Previously Vivint Solar’s senior director of human capital, Sabin joined the company as director of human capital in 2014, shortly before it completed its initial public offering. Among his accomplishments, he implemented key processes and compliance measures pre-IPO and also built a strong business partner function, furthering HR’s impact and influence in the organization. Sabin’s leadership and contributions have provided a strong foundation for growth as the company expanded rapidly from approximately 800 employees in 2014 to nearly 4,000 employees today.
“Vivint Solar provides a unique environment for professional growth and leadership opportunities that makes it an attractive destination for premier talent,” Sabin said. “I look forward to leveraging a human capital strategy that helps us build a strong culture tied to our core values and supports our business growth and pathway to profitability.”
Prior to Vivint Solar, Sabin served as senior HR manager for Sun Products/Henkel Corporation, a laundry and home care company, where he provided HR leadership and support to over 60 managers and 500 employees. He was previously a business partner supervisor at Intel-Micron Flash Technologies, a semiconductor company, where he led employee relations and helped drive performance management initiatives.
